*She started smiling! Her favorite place to smile is when she is on the changing table and her favorite time of day to smile is the morning! Her favorite toy is this green, honeycomb ball. She loves to grasp it and then "throw it."
*Sky is holding up her head more. She likes to look around and now she actually prefers to sit up (leaning up against something) so she can look around.
*She slept 7 hours in a row! A few times! We are ecstatic about this one :) She is averaging 5 hours the first part of the night but will sleep 6 or 7 on lucky nights.
*Skylar spent lots of time with Nana as I went back to work part-time on May 1st. Nana came to babysit and help out and they had tons of fun together--going on walks, listening to music, "standing", and hanging out.
*She is trying to "talk" more and more. She looks intently at your mouth and will click her tongue. She is becoming louder and more animated when making sounds.
*Sky now weighs 10 lbs, 6 oz (28th Percentile) and is 23.5 inches long (87th Percentile). We think they slightly overestimated her height :) She also got her first round of shots.
*We celebrated our first Mother's Day....Nana and I had facials at Zenergy, we had a brunch, took a walk together and just enjoyed the weekend.
