Summer in SV!

And here is some more 2015 summer fun....

The park is quickly becoming one of Skylar's favorite activities--each time we go, she tries something new. She loves seeing other kids and trying what they are doing! And of course, there is plenty of spotting birds too.

We said good bye (and good luck!) to our friend Liz with a neon workout in her honor!

Nana has made a sand pile for Sky. She is liking it more and more--but this day, she wouldn't let her left foot touch the sand?!

I completed my first Sawtooth Relay with Team Kasino 2 Casino! Leah, short Molly, Jo, tall Molls, me, and Jen getting ready to crush it!

We did it! Made it from Stanley to Ketchum in under 10 hours.

And now for the splash pad!!! The water was freezing but Skylar tried it out!

Skylar with her Daddy! Happy 2nd Father's Day, Lucas! We did a buttermilk pancake breakfast (thanks, Nana!), driving range practice and appetizers, and a concert at the Sawtooth Botanic Gardens too!

We started some pool parties! Alisha, Avery, Jo, and Book joined us for Friday Happy Hour--we plan on doing this a lot.

We took a trip to the big city of Twin Falls (ha!) for a girls shopping day. Here Skylar is checking out the patio furniture while Nana Bones picks out some window coverings. Later, she ran around like crazy in Target! lol

Birthdays and Hiking Season!

May means Spring...almost the end of the school year excitement, my birthday, and the kickoff to summery activities....like hiking!

For my birthday, my parents came out to celebrate--we had a full weekend featuring biking, a trip to Redfish Lake, drinks with friends at the Pio, and me forcing my friends to do the Crossfit workout/fundraiser "Murph" for Memorial Day.  They loved it so much :)

Sky and I really took to hiking this season....and the wildflowers are amazing due to all of that rain we had this May.  Chocolate Gulch, Fox Creek, Lookout, Proctor, Baker Lake, Titus Lake...the hikes keep coming!

My birthday! Noi and Jen came out to have an impromptu drink at the Pioneer. (I couldn't get this picture to go in the right spot so we will just have to start with the girls!)

Sky went to the park at Hemingway School with Papa and Mimi. She got to try out this horsey, the swings, and do some belly slides :)

Meanwhile.....we had drinks and my fave mudpie at the Pio with Rob, Noi, Jen, and Jared. CHEERS.

Summer also means mountain bike season...doing a little tune up with Daddy....

Lucas and Mike decided to try out the frigid, I mean refreshing, water. Their swim lasted maybe one minute--until they couldn't feel their legs!
