Skylar experienced her first flights and her first boat ride on Plum Lake this month! So far, she travels like a rock star! She has mastered rolling from her back to her tummy and will do this as soon as you put her on her back...even though she doesn't really like to be on her stomach for all that long. Skylar is still a pretty serious girl...she likes to observe and take it all in. She does smile and laugh but sometimes you have to work for this! She is reaching more and more for toys, your nose, your lips, etc and will hold on tight! Sky loves to stand and be up high and loves when Lucas sings her his original song, "She's a big girl, look at her now....." She also enjoys a good game of airplane. Her favorite book was given to her by cousin Julie and is called "Fire Engine." It's red and the pages are foam--she can turn them! She must take after her Bumpa! She sits up well in the bumbo chair. She is still a night owl and doesn't go to be until about 11 pm. On our trips, she stayed up past midnight a few times. Eek! Skylar is refusing to take a bottle...she's trying to make things interesting for my return to work in August :) Her personality is coming out more and more and we love it!! And her faces are still the best. See for yourself.
